If I happen to be doing a challenge or a hard objective during an event, I'm happy to burn warps like crazy (and in fact that's why I generally put off doing newly released objectives.) Burning warps off-event always seems like a waste to me, while I literally have more buffs than I know what to do with. > So using buffs that come from silver chests is wasting them but burning through deloreans that come from jewelled chests is somehow a valid strategy? So using buffs that come from silver chests is wasting them but burning through deloreans that come from jewelled chests is somehow a valid strategy? > (holy crap!? you guys wasted 24 hours of commons and 12 hours rare for buffs?) > i did not use lingering buffs trick, nor did i warp a whole bunch for storm rider. > i did not disenchant anyone, and none of my legendaries are above L5 L5 L5. The only ones without a real use, IMO, are Jason and Thalia (unless the aggro system has some purpose I don't know about), and Sarah, who lacks any abilities related to formation or other Crusaders. > that let the 3 crusaders near the snake stay alive 60 seconds, more than enough to beat the level. The Phoenix's Fire Storm plus your casted Fire Storm 75 to all enemies on the screen useful for bosses at the cost of only one non-DPS Crusader 4. > you can even switch out the wizard and put a good crusader in while alchemy runs then when alchemy wears out, put wizard back in and use alchemy again! > for the rest of the way, i figured out I could use alchemy to keep everyone alive. > i don't know how milgrid got up there, lol, i was mimicking milgrid and rex. > then when alchemy is out, use a delorean and put the wizard back in to use alchemy again. > where priestess of time is, that is where you put wizard to activate alchemy, then take wizard out and put any crusader you want where my priestess of time is. (She stays alive due to her Center of the Universe ability.) She's in an otherwise empty spot, and can trigger fire storm in a pinch. I've looked at their skills/talents/items and can't figure out what makes her better than other buffers? Maybe I just have to give them a go :) > What I don't understand is why people use Karen the Cat Teenager/ Montana Jones. > What level cap did you reach on Phoenix? also 9450-ish? > Edit: Looks like you want around e349 to complete. > Not recommended if you have less than 2000 cumulative DPS (edit: buffs) to burn for this event (along with a similar number of each of the other (edit: buffs)). My sasha is 2.77 times more effective than Jim at being my primary DPS.> *Originally posted by **(/forums/12051/topics/1763834?page=1#12902192)**:* Party DPS refers to the party DPS item of that character** The character with the highest number is your best DPS. Multiply each of your DPS gear with your EP for each of these characters, then multiply the value below. **This next part is a roughly weighted value for each character based on their % compared to one another. Prince Sal: 1000% damage bonus + 10% DPS skill. Adds an additional flex slot, increasing overall DPS by 15% + gear. Forces secondary DPS to be phoenix, gryphon, or merman phoenix gives 0%, Forced merman gives 10% + gear bonus, down from 21% + gear from nate Highly based on overall DPS gear loses khouri’s 35% + gear, gains gryphon’s DPS + gear. Hermit: 4800% damage bonus, but loses 15% + gear of party DPS, due to the missing flex member. Gains 15% + gear for additional flex slot. Loses 40% due to being incapable of buffing self. Lingering Buffs was extremely useful here. Bushy, Gryphon, and Merci are the three most common choices for flex slots. If you get stuck dont be afraid to empty your form, let the snake and wizard die and then re-add all of your gold crusaders for a quick boost. Replacing any of these characters adds a flex slot. **Assumed Team** Assumes team is comprised of Princess, Detective, Lion, Natalie, Jim, Khouri, Sasha, Panda, Nate, and 1 Flex slot for additional DPS. **The numbers on this guide are relatively out of date right now, as they only show multipliers and not base cost/dps value. Flex refers to as any character of your choice. This guide is designed for players who own more than 100 idols. This is a guide on the best choice for your DPS, based off of your equipment.
